Water Treatment and Greenhouse Systems for a Sensitive Cuttings Farm

Savanna Flowers in Kenya produces young plant cuttings, including geranium. This crop is very sensitive, and one infection can shut down production. Since 2020, ND Project has built the water treatment, pump house, greenhouses, in-field systems and water supply. The system uses Priva Nutrijet, Priva Neutralizer, pH control, UV disinfection by Atlantium, reverse osmosis, silo tanks, a chlorine disinfection unit and Amiad filters. Since ND’s system started, the farm has had no infection shutdowns.
